Sherry Potochnik apparently saw some real potential in the village [Harmar] and has just opened a new business at 130 Maple St. called Miss Pea’s Tutoring and Education Center.

“I like the Harmar area a lot,” she said. “My son attended Harmar School, and I lived here for 17 years, so my heart is really in Harmar. To me, opening a business here is no different than opening it on Front Street across the river.”

Potochnik said her tutoring business will hold a grand opening event on June 28 from 1 to 4 p.m.
